Visitando el Museo de Historia Natural en Londres Visiting the Natural History Museum of London

Los estudiantes de grado octavo se reunieron en el auditorio del Colegio Mayor de los Andes para tener una reunión virtual con Sophia Vasiliou, gerente de proyectos del Museo de Historia Natural de Londres. Sophia les hizo a los estudiantes un tour virtual del museo en donde pudieron apreciar varios lugares de este, especialmente la sección de los dinosaurios. Esta actividad permitió que los estudiantes pudieran indagar sobre la vida de Sophia e información valiosa sobre el Museo, como su historia, sus colecciones, horarios, precios de entrada, entre otros. Además, estuvieron inmersos en la cultura británica, teniendo un acercamiento al acento, pronunciación y vocabulario del inglés en esta zona del mundo.

8th grade students gathered in the auditorium of the Mayor de los Andes School for a virtual meeting with Sophia Vasiliou, Project Manager of The Natural History Museum in London. Sophia gave the students a virtual tour of the museum where they could appreciate several places of the museum, especially the Collection of Dinosaurs. This activity allowed the students to inquire about Sophia’s life and valuable information about the Museum, such as its history, its collections, schedules, entrance fees, among others. They were also immersed in British culture, having an approach to the accent, pronunciation and vocabulary of English language in this area of the world.
