SHARING CULTURE IN SAINT VALENTINE’S DAY

Today, the fourth graders talked with some students from the “Dunn Elementary School” in North Carolina, United States. On this occasion, the teacher Eliana Úsuga and her students share the knowledge acquired about space, the moon, and its phases. Also, there was the opportunity to learn about some of their favorite customs and activities. It was a space for cultural and linguistic exchange, in which students from the two schools will be able to communicate about the activities that take place during the Valentine’s Day celebration.

El día de hoy, los niños de grado cuarto tuvieron la oportunidad de conversar con algunos estudiantes de la “Dunn Elementary School” en Carolina del Norte, Estados Unidos. En esta ocasión, la docente Eliana Úsuga, Licenciada en Lenguas Modernas, nos permitió compartir con sus estudiantes los conocimientos adquiridos sobre el espacio, la Luna y sus fases. Además, se dio la oportunidad de conocer algunas de sus costumbres y actividades favoritas. Fue un espacio de intercambio cultural y lingüístico en el cual los estudiantes de ambos colegios pudieron comunicarse acerca de las actividades que realizan durante la celebración de San Valentín.
