Probing hypothesis

The fourth-grade students have been developing an important part of the scientific method, the hypothesis. In this step of the method, the students must be creative and analytic, using the information they know for suggesting possible answers and taking decisions about situations in the real life. Then, during the laboratory, they affirm or discard their hypothesis and conclude according to the results they found in the development of the experiment.

Los alumnos de cuarto grado han ido desarrollando una parte importante del método científico, la hipótesis. En este paso del método, los estudiantes deben ser creativos y analíticos, utilizando la información que conocen para sugerir posibles respuestas y tomar decisiones sobre situaciones de la vida real. Luego, durante el laboratorio, afirman o descartan su hipótesis y concluyen de acuerdo con los resultados que encontraron en el desarrollo del experimento.
