PRAE CHALLENGE #7: Día de la tierra

El Colegio Mayor de los Andes conmemoró el Día de la Tierra con una jornada especial organizada por el área de Ciencias, el pasado mes de abril. Durante este día, las secciones de preescolar, primaria y bachillerato se unieron en una serie de actividades destinadas a fortalecer el compromiso ambiental de toda la comunidad educativa. Como parte de la celebración, los estudiantes y docentes participaron activamente en labores de siembra en la huerta escolar y en tareas de deshierbe. Estas acciones no solo fomentaron el respeto y el cuidado por la naturaleza, sino que también ofrecieron una oportunidad para reflexionar sobre la importancia de preservar nuestro planeta. La jornada se caracterizó por un ambiente de entusiasmo y colaboración, en el que cada uno de los participantes aportó su esfuerzo para embellecer y fortalecer éste espacio pedagógico verde del colegio.

On April 22nd, Colegio Mayor de los Andes commemorated Earth Day with a special event organized by the Science Department. Throughout the day, the preschool, elementary, and high school sections came together for a series of activities aimed at strengthening the environmental commitment of the entire educational community. As part of the celebration, students and teachers actively participated in planting activities in the school garden and in weeding tasks. These actions not only promoted respect and care for nature, but also offered an opportunity to reflect on the importance of preserving our planet. The day was marked by an atmosphere of enthusiasm and collaboration, in which each participant contributed their effort to beautify and strengthen this green pedagogical space within the school.
