Izada de bandera – Grados 3A y 3B

En la más reciente izada de bandera, conmemoramos tres aspectos fundamentales para la formación integral de nuestros estudiantes: la autonomía, la afrocolombianidad y el Perfil IB reflexivo. Este evento se convirtió en un espacio para resaltar valores y aprendizajes que fortalecen tanto la identidad personal como el sentido de comunidad dentro de nuestro colegio.

La ceremonia inició con los himnos nacional y del colegio, seguidos del reconocimiento a los estudiantes que, con sus acciones, merecieron el honor de izar la bandera. En esta ocasión, se destacó a los alumnos que se caracterizan por ser upstanders, aquellos que defienden lo correcto y apoyan a quien lo necesita; a quienes demuestran el valor de la autonomía, tomando decisiones responsables y respetuosas; y a quienes viven el Perfil IB reflexivo, aprendiendo de sus experiencias y buscando siempre mejorar.

Posteriormente, se realizó el juramento a la bandera y se presentó un acróstico sobre la autonomía, resaltando la importancia de este valor en la vida escolar y personal. La jornada también incluyó una significativa presentación sobre la afrocolombianidad, exaltando la diversidad cultural de nuestro país, y una canción sobre la amistad, que reforzó el mensaje de unión y solidaridad.

El evento continuó con un mensaje sobre el Perfil IB reflexivo, invitando a los estudiantes a reconocer sus fortalezas, aprender de cada experiencia y actuar con responsabilidad. Finalmente, la Directora de Primaria, Ms. Laura García, dirigió unas palabras de cierre, motivando a toda la comunidad educativa a vivir estos valores en su cotidianidad.

La ceremonia concluyó con la marcha final, en un ambiente de respeto, orgullo patrio y sentido de comunidad.

Flag Ceremony – 3A and 3B

In our most recent flag ceremony, we honored three key aspects of our students’ holistic education: autonomy, Afro-Colombian identity, and the IB Reflective Profile. This event became a meaningful opportunity to highlight values and learning experiences that strengthen both personal identity and a sense of community within our school.

The ceremony began with the Colombian National Anthem and the School Anthem, followed by the recognition of students who earned the honor of raising the flag. On this occasion, tribute was given to those who stand out as upstanders—students who defend what is right and support others with courage and empathy; to those who demonstrate autonomy, making responsible and respectful decisions; and to those who embody the IB Reflective Profile, learning from their experiences and striving to improve each day.

Afterwards, the Pledge of Allegiance was recited, and an acrostic about autonomy was presented, emphasizing the importance of this value in school and in everyday life. The program also included a meaningful presentation on Afro-Colombian identity, celebrating the cultural diversity of our country, and a song about friendship, which reinforced the message of unity and solidarity.

The event continued with a message about the IB Reflective Profile, encouraging students to recognize their strengths, learn from every experience, and act with responsibility. Finally, the Primary Director, Ms. Laura García, shared closing remarks, motivating the entire educational community to embrace these values in their daily lives.

The ceremony concluded with the final march, in an atmosphere of respect, national pride, and community spirit.
