Flag Raising for 4th Grade

The fourth-grade students were responsible for organizing the flag-raising ceremony, where primary school students had the opportunity to reflect on the importance of the turban in Afro-Colombian culture. They also delivered a message about the responsibility humans have in caring for themselves, others, and the environment. Additionally, it was an opportunity to recognize students who stood out for being inquirers and upstanders.

Los estudiantes de grado cuarto fueron los encargados de llevar a cabo la organización de la izada de bandera, en la que los niños de primaria pudieron reflexionar acerca de la importancia del turbante en la cultura Afrocolombiana, así como también, dieron un mensaje acerca de la responsabilidad que tiene el ser humano en cuanto al cuidado de sí mismo, del otro y del medio ambiente. Además, fue la oportunidad perfecta para resaltar aquellos estudiantes que se destacaron por ser indagadores y “Upstander”.
