Ciencia vs. Derechos, un Viaje en el tiempo

Los estudiantes de cuarto grado fueron protagonistas de un fantástico viaje en el tiempo. Al Colegio Mayor de los Andes llegaron de visita Nicolas Copérnico, Hipatia de Alejandría, Marie Curie, Alan Turing, Dian Fossey y muchos otros personajes de la ciencia, los cuales nos han contado como, a través de sus historias de vida, han sido testigos de la vulneración de los derechos, de su lucha por la equidad, del valor del conocimiento y la ciencia en la sociedad.

 Science vs. rights, journey through the time.

 During this week, the fourth-grade students were the protagonists of a fantastic journey through time; Nicolas Copernicus, Hypatia of Alexandria, Marie Curie, Alan Turing, Dian Fossey, and many other figures of science came to visit the “Colegio Mayor de los Andes”. They told us how, through their life stories, they have witnessed the violation of rights their fight for equity, and the value of knowledge and science in society.
