Building a big book with first graders: Collaborative learning

This activity was wonderful to show our students the power of the stories. We discovered with them the different ways to express ourselves by writing, drawing, talking with body language, by using dance and music to express with others. This learning experience was an opportunity to give our students the role to be a narrator, a writer, an illustrator, according to the story that we created together as a team, using the vocabulary, the pronouns and some details to build the big book as a great moment working together.

Una actividad inolvidable en la que descubrimos formas diversas de comunicación y expresión. Los roles como narrador, escritor, ilustrador y los recursos como vocabulario, pronombres y otros detalles, permitieron el trabajo en equipo para la construcción de nuestro Libro Gigante.
