Apertura de Unidad #5

Como apertura de la Unidad 5, todos los niños de Transición realizaron una visita a la granja, donde observaron e identificaron diferentes tipos de animales en su hábitat. Durante la actividad, completaron un registro de observación, describiendo las características y comportamientos de los animales que encontraron. Esta experiencia les permitió iniciar su exploración sobre la relación entre la naturaleza y el ser humano, conectando con los conceptos de función, cambio y causa. Además, fomentó el desarrollo del perfil del aprendiz IB, promoviendo la indagación, el conocimiento y la solidaridad al reflexionar sobre la importancia de cuidar a los seres vivos y su entorno.

Unit 5 Opening Activity

To kick off Unit 5, all the Transition students visited a farm, where they observed and identified different types of animals in their natural habitat. During the activity, they completed an observation log, describing the characteristics and behaviors of the animals they encountered. This experience allowed them to begin exploring the relationship between nature and humans, connecting with the concepts of function, change, and causality. It also supported the development of the IB learner profile by promoting inquiry, knowledge, and caring as they reflected on the importance of taking care of living beings and their environment.
